July 17th: Our First Annual SAFER Houston Parent’s Conference! This event will be held at Beck’s Prime Restaurant in the Memorial Loop. Local allergists will give presentations on Food Allergy Basics and New Research and Therapies for Food Allergies. We will have lots of information and giveways! This is a great opportunity to invite family, friends and other members of your community to learn about food allergies. For more information click here!

Where: Memorial Hermann Northwest, off of 610, north loop near Ella Blvd. We will meet in classroom B in the south Tower. Parking Info: The closest parking garage is garage two. Once you exit the garage on the main level, take the walkway to the right all the way to the South Tower. The fee for parking is $5.
Topic: Back to School with Food Allergies!
Charity Hegy RN, BSN is a school nurse in Ft. Bend ISD as well as the mother of three children, one of whom has severe food allergies. Charity was awarded a FAAN scholarship last year and attended the National Association of School Nurse’s meeting in Boston. She will be speaking about many issues that food allergic families will encounter.
Parent’s Night Out
Come join us for Parent’s Night Out in The Woodlands! This month we are meeting at La Madeleine, The Woodlands location (near The Woodlands Mall) on Friday, April 16th at 7pm. Please RSVP no later than 4/15 to Dorin Jordan at dorin@SAFERHouston.com. Hope to see you there!
